My whole family loves these chicken bites! They don’t take long to make—I’d say they’re ready in just 20 to 30 minutes. They’re high in protein and a healthier option, all while being full of flavor.

Serve 4
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast cut in to cubes
- 1 Cup vegetable oil for frying
- 1/2 tsp Dill herb
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp hot paprika powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- An egg
- 1 cup bread crumbs for coating
Instructions:
Marinate the chicken:
In a bowl, add cubed chicken. Then add all the spices along with salt and pepper. Mix well until all the chicken pieces are evenly coated with the marinade.
Prepare the egg:
Crack an egg into a bowl and whisk until smooth and silky.
Prepare the bread crumbs:
Put the bread crumbs in a flat bowl (pasta bowl).
Dredge the chicken pieces:
Dip each piece of chicken into the whisked egg, then dredge it in breadcrumbs until fully coated).
I prefer to dredge all the chicken pieces before frying. It helps for bread crumbs to stick in the chicken well
Fry Chicken
Heat vegetable oil for about 140 C (medium heat) then deep fry the chicken pieces in batches for 3 minutes turning.
Finish and serve:
Serve warm with a dipping sauce or without a sauce. Also these are great for work lunch and kids school lunch boxes.
Very crispy outside and tender and juicer inside chicken bites are better and very simple and quicker to make than chicken nugets.
Why these Chicken Bites are So Good?
What I love about these chicken bites is how versatile and family-friendly they are. I marinated the chicken with herbs, vinegar, salt, and pepper to enhance flavor and tenderness. After coating each piece in egg and breadcrumbs, I deep-fried them to achieve a perfectly golden, crispy exterior. While they’re fried, using wholesome ingredients and a good-quality oil makes them a more balanced indulgence. They’re packed with protein, loved by kids and adults alike, and perfect for lunchboxes, quick dinners, or even as a fun party snack. Serve them with your favourite dip or a fresh salad for a satisfying, feel-good meal.
